This course is structured to provide introductory information on the
National Electrical Safety Code® (NESC®).
The National Electrical Safety Code® is the rules for the safeguarding
of persons during the installation, operation or maintenance of electric supply and
communication lines and associated equipment. This 5 week class, taught by Dick Hildreth
of Anderson Municipal Light & Power Company, will provide introductory information on the
NESC® with particular attention to electric supply stations and overhead electric and
communications lines. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions to the sessions or
contact Dick prior to the meetings so that these issues can be covered.
