IEEE EAB SEEKS INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS TO SERVE AS
PROGRAM EVALUATORS FOR ACCREDITATION ACTIVITIES The IEEE Educational Activities Board (EAB) seeks professionals in industry,
government and academic sectors to serve as program evaluators for
the following Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology Inc.
-accredited programs at U.S. colleges:
- Biomedical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering Technology
- Computer Engineering and Computer Engineering Technology
- Electrical Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology
- Software Engineering and Software Engineering Technology
- Electromechanical Engineering Technology
- Information Engineering Technology
- Laser-Optics Engineering Technology
- Telecommunications Engineering Technology
Applications for the 2004-2005 academic year are due by 15 Nov.
They will be reviewed during the January/February IEEE meetings.
Notification will be sent to applicants by 1 March. Service as a program evaluator gives members of the profession an
opportunity to contribute to the achievement of high quality educational
standards of engineering and engineering technology programs.
